Last night’s Bulldog Madness event was full of excitement when first-year Alex Tillinghast won a Ford F-150 truck after making a half-court shot.
In 30 seconds Tillinghast made a layup, free throw, 3-pointer and finally a half-court shot that won him a new truck.
Tillinghast’s performance started off shaky, but he finished strong, making the last two shots in a row.
Students stormed the Knapp Center floor in celebration. Potentially the first of many as men’s basketball team starts its season with an exhibition against Coe College Saturday. Tip-off is at 2:05 p.m.
