The fall winds bring with them a new music season and give us new hope in the industry. I don’t know about you, but after this summer and only hearing “Call Me Maybe” every time I turned on the radio, I am so ready for some musical redemption of the highest form. And with Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way Ball” finally coming to the U.S., this fall and winter are going to be fantastic.

First off, I am anxiously awaiting No Doubt’s new album “Push and Shove” out on Sept. 25. I’m not really sure if I understand No Doubt, but that is enough of a reason to love them for me. The songs they have released from the album so far are pop rock anthems that you can’t help but sing along too. I expect the rest of the album will be the same.

Then of course we have Ms. Taylor Swift with her new album “Red” dropping Oct. 22. I have a feeling this thing is going to blow up. Although the whole my ex-boyfriend thing is getting a little old, the album tittle alone fascinates me and if her song “Ronan” doesn’t convince people that this girl can write, then I don’t know what will.

If you haven’t gotten into the band Fun. yet then you better hurry because they are on the verge of taking over. Their hits “We Are Young” and “Some Nights” sound bubblier than anything on the pop charts, and they manage to give you joy and send you a message at the same time. Then there are our favorite British lads of One Direction. How can you not be in love? Catchy songs, cool outfits and the adorableness of it all make them the ultimate pop fad. Plus their new album drops Nov. 13.

Don’t think I forgot about my oldies either. After all, I haven’t been able to sleep some nights just thinking about The Rolling Stones’ new songs. Happy 50th Anniversary to all of us! Bob Dylan’s brave new album just came out and The Who are taking “Quadrophenia” on the road again. I love when the bands that started it all remind us where all of our other music originated from and why they still, simply put, rock.
