12:09 a.m. Sept. 25
Security observed an underage-for-drinking female Drake student lying in the grass near Carpenter Avenue by the painted street. One male and one female Drake student picked up the student off the ground. Security stopped all three to speak to them. The students stated they were walking home from a party. The female that was on the ground could not stand or walk and then started to vomit. Security called Des Moines Fire Rescue at this time. Rescue arrived and transported the student to a local hospital. Residence life and the dean of students were advised.
1:00 p.m. Sept. 20
Security responded to the 1200 block of 31st Street near Goodwin Kirk Residence Hall on a report from a female Drake student that a male in his 20s had just exposed himself. Security checked the area but could not locate the suspect.
10:30 p.m. Sept. 20
Security responded to Meredith Hall on a report that a male Drake student had fallen through a gate and was injured. Security found the student; he had cut his arm. Des Moines Fire Medics were called. Medics treated the student on the scene, and he did not want to go the hospital.
10:34 p.m. Sept. 20
Security was at the Kum and Go store located at 31st and University when a non-Drake affiliated male told security that his vehicle was just stolen. Security called the police and started to follow the stolen vehicle. The owner of the stolen vehicle got into a car with a friend and ran in front of the now stolen vehicle and got it stopped in the 1500 block of 30th Street. Security was able to pull the non-Drake affiliated male suspect out of the vehicle and hold him until the police arrived. The suspect was arrested for second degree theft.
11:05 p.m. Sept. 24
Security officers heard a crash outside the security office on 25th Street. Officers observed that a pick-up truck had just hit two vehicles outside the office on the street. The driver of the truck took off running. Security chased the suspect, caught him and held him for police. The suspect was a non-Drake affiliated male. The two victims of the vehicles that were hit came to the scene, both non-Drake affiliated. Police arrested the suspect for hit and run and public intoxication.
9:34 a.m. Sept. 25
A female Drake student reported to security that her MacBook was stolen out of her unlocked dorm room at Jewett Residence Hall sometime overnight on Sept. 24.
