Mack Swenson is a junior majoring in Multimedia Journalism and Environmental Sustainability and Resilience. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and is the 2023-24 Apprentice at Southern Living Magazine. Plant parenting and talking about society, campus gossip, and politics are among their assorted hobbies.

Parker Wright is a junior majoring in Multimedia Journalism and Writing. Parker is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, VIP, Positive Mentality, and an editor for Drake Political Review. Parker is also a dog person as they are “superior,” and he knows anything and everything about Star Wars.

Lily Wasserman is a sophomore at Drake studying Multimedia Journalism and History. Outside of working for the Times-Delphic, she is a member of Phi Alpha Theta, Sigma Tau Delta, and the public democracy scholars. She loves playing card games in her free time (however little she has).

Caroline is a sophomore at Drake and is passionate about her and other people’s opinions, so much so that she became the commentary editor. When not engaging in debate with her roommate, you can find her running the student organization “Students for Reproductive Justice,” watching Gilmore Girls and/or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and trying to curl her hair.

Bryson is a Junior majoring in Business Studies (with a focus on marketing) & Multimedia Journalism. On campus, he is the Marketing Coordinator for the Drake Broadcasting System, the Secretary for the Drake Data Club, and a member of Drake’s American Marketing Association chapter. He works as a part-time media intern for CEimpact.

Maria Heath is a junior studying Public Relations and English with a concentration in women’s and gender studies. She is involved with Borealis choir, the Public Relations Students of Society, the Adams Leadership Institute and is a Student Ambassador for Drake Admissions. When not checking the grammar of the Times-Delphic, she enjoys reading, singing, journaling, and watching romantic comedies.

Carmon Baker is a junior studying Multimedia Journalism and Spanish with minors in Sociology and Magazine/Brand Media. When she’s not writing, you can find her reading, going for a walk, taking care of her plants, or listening to Noah Kahan.

Veronica Meiss is a first-year studying Multimedia Journalism and Graphic Design. If you don’t see her in the Times-Delphic office, she is most likely in a study space stressing over her politics class, alternating between three different drinks (a watermelon Monster, blue Powerade, or iced green tea).

Faculty Senate Beat Writer (he/him) 

Andrew is a senior studying Multimedia Journalism and Writing. He attends Faculty Senate and meets monthly with Provost Mattison. He has written about Drake’s initiatives and decisions, such as Drake’s response to its budget challenges, the mental health fee, and the policy change to the overload fee.

Morgen is a sophomore studying Multimedia Journalism and Public Relations. She is involved with Drake Mock Trial and Delta Gamma on campus. Additionally, she is a student supervisor at Cowles Library and a Communications Intern at the National Alliance on Mental Illness. In her free time, she loves to read, listen to music, and hang out with friends and family.

Elliot Nelson is a first-year studying Public Relations, Marketing, and International Relations on campus. He currently is one of the proud “NewSiEs,” distributing the paper every Wednesday! He also participates in a variety of activities on campus, including Student Senate and the Student Alumni Association.
