Wiseler announces exit from basketball team

Senior point guard Frank Wiseler announced his departure from the men’s basketball squad this Friday. Wiseler dealt with a severed Achilles tendon this past offseason, which led to a stress fracture in his heel, as well. Wiseler desires to play professional basketball in Europe after college and decided he needed to take the year off to recuperate from his injuries. Wiseler garnered 25 starts in the 45 games he played for Drake. He finished with career averages of 4.0 points per game and 2.4 assists per game.
